Lester Quinones, a potential young shooting guard out of the University of Memphis, has been signed by the Golden State Warriors. Quinones, a guard who stands 6’5″, comes to the Warriors’ squad a combination of offensive and defensive flexibility that could make him a significant acquisition.

Quinones shown a remarkable ability to score from all areas of the floor while playing for Memphis, averaging 11.7 points per game and shooting 40.7% from three-point range. He also showed strong defensive instincts, with an average of 1.1 steals per game and frequently being given the difficult task of defending the top perimeter players of the opposition.

The Warriors’ continuous efforts to revamp their team following a disastrous 2022–23 season continue with the addition of Quinones. Quinones will add to the Warriors’ nucleus of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green as they seek to rebound and challenge for another NBA title in the next season.

In a statement, Quinones said, “I’m pleased to be joining the Warriors organisation and can’t wait to get to work with my new teammates and coaches. I’m excited to be a part of such a great and successful team. I’m prepared to go above and above to support this club and deliver another title to the Bay Area if necessary.
